Great Basin Gold (GBG) and Dorato Resources (DRI) both report rising stock values during January.~~

Dorate Resources announced its completion of the exploration project of Minera Afrodita's in the Cordillera del Condor. This 2008 Tambo Block Program in Peru has defined a large gold bearing system in the same host rocks as the Fruta del Norte gold deposit. They have the option of acquiring 100% of Minera Afrodita.

Great Basin Gold's stocks also rose with their announcement of further drilling results in its Hollister gold property.
