Are gold stocks dropping value?

This is a very strange time in our economy. Everyone is pretty much guessing what will happen in the short term not to mention the long run.~~

This article seems in my opinion to be contrary to other information I read about gold and gold stocks.

It reports that gold stocks are under performing and that some of the worst performing producers included not only gold major Barrick Gold down by 34% but many other familiar stocks.
